I had a wonderful, unique opportunity to photograph the Metamora Fox Hunt that started on the Keblaitis Iron Bridge Farm the other weekend. I had no idea what to expect but I love the excitement of shooting something new and this did not disappoint at all. It was a beautiful Fall morning and the custom is to serve port wine, cider, doughnuts and treats to the riders and guests. It was a breathtaking view seeing the sun rise up over the gorgeous fields and see so many equestrians and their horses grazing the field. Shortly after all the horses had arrived, the hounds came rushing around the barn and it was quite spectacular. After roaming around the Iron Bridge farm, one of the Hunt Masters then gave a toast to the crowd and headed off on the hunt. Or at least that was my summary of the event! Many thanks to Liz and Dave for inviting me out to photograph the hunt!
